The Durham Regional Police Service would like to thank all contestants and school administrators for their participation in this year's Chief for a Day contest.
Ten-year old Olivia Baker has been chosen as this year's Annual Police Chief for a Day after a volunteer committee selected her winning essay at a contest held last Friday. Olivia is a Grade 5 student from C.E Broughton PS in Whitby. Chief Paul Martin attended her school today to surprise her with the news.
