PADAN has provided more than $1.5 million in funding to officer-driven, community outreach programs. This includes initiatives like Gowns for Girls, which gives teenaged girls all the resources they need to have an amazing prom experience, and Seniors’ Christmas, which has officers visiting long-term care facilities across the region to spread holiday cheer. These types of programs allow officers to make emotional connections and build trust in the community that goes beyond traditional calls for service.
