Anthony ScottTen-year-old Anthony Scott spent a fun-filled day visiting DRPS divisions and units as part of his Chief for a Day duties October 20th, 2015.

After being picked up in a cruiser by Cst. Heather Wilson at Maple Ridge PS in Pickering, Anthony was taken to Regional Headquarters to swear his Oath of Office in front of his new employees.

Chief Anthony was awarded the special honour after reading a compelling speech to a group of community judges on how he would help keep "Durham Strong."

After the change of command ceremony with Chief Paul Martin, Chief Anthony spent a busy day visiting Traffic Services, Communications/911, Central East Division, the Forensic Investigative Services Unit, and the Police Education and Innovation Centre. He topped off his day off with a ride over his school in Air 1, where he had the opportunity to wave to all his friends.
